@2:21 PM
I’m so frustrated with my computer recently having twice my blog being written but couldn’t be posted out and the most saddening part is my drafts were not saved. So..now I’ve to rewrite the whole story and I’m hoping that the details are still vivid in my mind.
09/04 Saturday..and the weather was ok.
Woke up a little bit earlier than usual. As I was dragging myself out of my bed,I heard my mom mumbling but I wasn’t sure what was she talking about. Then, I walked straight to the phone and made a call. “Hello..ZS ah? So how? Jadi o not? 10.30’s bus ah? Ok larr..bye!” I excitedly hung up the phone and couldn’t help imagining how enjoyable it’d be.
10.45a.m. At last, the bus has come. In the history of me taking Pulau Gadong bus, this was the 1st time that the bus was so packed with people. PheWw...*Sweat* Lucky ZS cause there was a seat for her since the bus stopped at her housing area before mine.
At Sentral, we took another bus in order to reach our final destination. No sweat for us to get the bus that we actually searching for cause there were these bus conductors shouting “Karnival TV3! Karnival TV3! Dataran Sejarah Ayer Keroh~!”.. We hopped on the bus and found out that we’re the only two alien in the bus. Then, ZS realized that the bus conductor and bus driver were chinese too. Haha..what a relief~! =p
Finally, we arrived at Dataran Sejarah Ayer Keroh at 11 something. First thing that we saw were umbrellas. They formed a really nice view to the eyes especially from where we stood(We’re trapped in a traffic jam and hence we’re actually looking down from the bus while waiting the bus to take a u-turn and drop us).
At the Karnival, there’re hoi polloi and many booths. ZS and I took a walk all around before we could actually decide where we should stay longer. As we’re walking around, we’re searching for people who belong to our kind. As the conclusion, there’re only approximately 10% of our kind were there and most of them were working there. *Sob sob* We continuously ‘surveying’ around until we saw this BIG container with air-cond and we decided to take a look in it. We stepped into it and felt the cooling and refreshing air. Suddenly, I felt very uneasy and there was this very weird atmosphere around us. People were looking at us with that kind of ‘huh??’ look. After being so confused by their looks for 5.5s, it was my turn to have to ‘huh??’ look on me. ‘Huh??What the hack are we doing in here?’ That was what I was thinking back then. You know why? Cause the container that we’re in was actually a place to exhibit stuff from the TV program Jejak Rahsul. Wah~! So embarrassing man!
Besides having one booth for every TV program to exhibit their stuff, there were booths that sell shampoos, drinks, ice-cream, biscuits and t-shirts at really cheap rate. Each of these booths had their own games, free samples and really cool free gifts.
After walking under the blazing sun and all around in the muddy field, we finally saw the place we’re looking for—8TV’s booth. First who we saw was Phat Phabes and Reena on the stage having someone to sing Everytime by Britney Spears. I took out my camera to snap a photo of them. After snapping their picture and on my way of keeping my camera, suddenly I heard someone talking to me. It was Phat Phabes. He was so excited about having me taking his photo and asked me to take one more for him. Wahahaha… =) He’s a really cute guy and sweat a lot(due to his body size and skin colour like penguin does). No kidding. I could actually see his sweat dripping off his forehead and he has this big hanky like mine with him. =p
Then, we saw PS’s fave TV host—Adam with his cap and sun glasses on. Frankly speaking, he looks less cute in person cause he’s too skinny. As for Marion, she’s still as pretty as ever and she was so busy with her makeup and hair standing in front of the big piece of mirror. All the TV hosts were so nice and friendly including Gary and Yoon. I even had a chat with Gary and I was so thrilled about it.
If you’re watching 8TV last Saturday and Sunday, you should know that there’re these live scenes from Karnival TV3 and I was just standing next to the camera man. We could actually see the way they do live. Syok man! One of the crew even asked me to be on the show(Quickie) as passer-by but I rejected..(Well..I’m not going to ruin my image first time appearing live on TV with my oily face and messy hair although I’ve been praying to be on TV for such a long time). Anyhow, I still won myself a Initial D poster which has Jay Chow’s face on it and a cassette sang by Liza Eziz whom I have no idea who she is. ZS won herself a Sarimah’s single CD.
Before ZS and I decided to go home, we asked the 8TV’s hosts to leave a word on our notebook as remembrance. Marion has really nice handwriting or should I say all of them have fine handwritings except Adam. Muahahaha… =p
Before I end this thing, there’s something that worth a mention. There was this really cute guy, that I actually think that he looks a little bit like Daniel Wu, working as a TV crew at 8TV. I thought of talking to him but I didn’t. I thought of taking photo with him but I didn’t. My sis’s glad that I didn’t and I’m glad I didn’t too. Hahaha… But still I kena electricity shock by him until I pening lalat.
All in all…I had a really great time at this Karnival TV3 although there weren’t many Chinese there. I don’t know about ZS larr… I think she enjoyed herself too. =)
Karnival TV3 SuRe HeBoH~! Memang ngam Si Kepoh~!
