My family and I joined a trip organized by Kelab Guru of my mom’s school yesterday and I was so exhausted when we finally reached home around 2a.m. PheWw~!
We departed from my mom’s school at about 8.30 in the morning. Our 1st stop was Putra Jaya. It wasn’t my 1st time going there but it was my 1st time entering the mosque. All females were required to put on a robe unless you’re all covered up in long sleeves. Do you know what’s the colour of the robe? It’s PINK. *Faint* I wonder why they want to make it pink. Not that I don’t like the colour but its kind of weird when my mom and sis put them on. Hehehe.. =P
After spending half an hour there, we proceed to our next destination—IKEA. ‘Aunties’ in our trip were lost and couldn’t find their way out. Muahaha.. For the first time in my lifetime, I was in very good control of my sense of direction and I was so proud of it. Hehe.. =P
Next station, One Utama. There were big sales going on but I didn’t spend a cent cause there weren’t any clothes that successfully attracted me to their prices. Since I’m so broke now, I’ll have to think twice and another twice before I buy something. =P
We spent about two hours shopping there and at last we’re heading to our final destination—Kuala Selangor to watch firefly. There were fireflies all over the trees. At first we thought that they were human designed bulb to lighten up the trees but we finally found out that they’re actually true fireflies. Paiseh~! The boatman explained to us that fireflies only live on specific kind of tree namely Berembang because fireflies eat the leaves of the kind of tree to survive. The scenery along the river was beautiful but kind of eerie as well due to the darkness of the night. I couldn’t help imagining crocodiles ambushing in the dark. ~_"
Around 11p.m., we headed home to Malacca. Home sweet home. =)

I knew that Chin Hong would definitely write something about our trip to Genting last Monday and she really did. Since she already has already written most of the ‘events’ that happened during the trip, I’ll just touch up a bit here and there.
The journey up the hill was adventurous. It might sound as if it was the first time I went up there (although I’ve been there for n times) but I felt like sitting in a roller coaster cause Chin Hong’s father was driving like F1 car racers. Cool man~! But I felt a bit dizzy after we ‘landed’ (that’s the term that Chin Hong’s dad used when we reached first world hotel.) Hehe.. =P
At the hotel lobby, we met pig oil and mars girl. While waiting for check-in to be done, I recorded a short video of pig oil and mars girl trying hard to show their talent in broad-casting(since they’ll be taking this path and might become famous VJs or DJs someday, it’s my pleasure to be their first fan club member or even cameraman)but it turned out to be a comedy act. *Faint*
After checking in, pig oil and mars girl had their lunch (instant noodle) and then we pushed off to enter Theme Park. RM30 per adult during weekdays. Anyone could actually hear my purse crying?! I’m so broke. *Sob* I was the person in-charge to buy the ticket and the person at the counter gave her statement: "The ticket is not refundable no matter how the weather is."… Well, it was her job to tell us the risk and we took the risk. Mr. Weatherman wasn’t cooperating and there was him making his baby cry. Poor baby and poor us. However, we were still be able to have some fun or should I say we created some fun out of no fun. We took pictures here and there with our very own style. Haha.. I guess that’s what Chin Hong mentioned as ‘artistic’ photo.
Rain drops coming down with no mercy. There was nothing much we could do about it and without any choice, we went indoor. Continuingly, we took some art pieces while we’re having our lunch at Mc D. We sure looked very syok sendiri back then. Haha.. But we really had fun. We did. =)
After running out of energy, we went back to our room to clean ourselves up. Then, we went out to hunt for food. We had our dinner at Restaurant Hou Mei. My curry noodle quite ‘hou mei’ but very expensive, it cost me RM9.50. Again, my purse was bleeding. I’m not stingy larr but I’m so broke recently since I’m not having any income. *Sweat* After that, we did some shopping and then our next station was Starbuck. Hot choc with LOW FAT milk. My body really couldn’t take in anymore fattening stuff or else my weighing machine will run out of scale. We chose a very strategic table and sat down. We talked about anything on earth. From future to the past, from love lives to our dreams and from imagination to reality world. It felt so good being able to gather around like this to chat about anything and everything with some close friends. =) Felt great and I’m so grateful about it.
Chin Hong already mentioned about the some celebrities and local models that we met at Starbucks and I’d like to add some details about it. First person that passed by our table was Shaun Lee. He looked taller and more muscular in person than on TV and he has this fragrant smell(mars girl told me that was Polo Blue’s perfume that he was using). Next, Lee Shi Qi passed by our table too. I spoke out her name a bit too loud until she could actually hear me calling her name. First she was a little bit shocked then she actually waved at us. So nice and sweet of her. Then, more and more people coming in and there were Steve Yap, William, the Peter guy, Ishak(the Pond’s advertisement guy) and many more that we couldn’t recognize. It was Ishak’s birthday and a birthday song was being sang by the others and we contributed our voices as well. Hehe.. =P We didn’t have the courage to take a photo with them cause there’re too many of them. However, we did take a photo with the Fammy guy who’s working at Starbuck. =)
Around 3a.m., we went for a walk at the First World Garden. It was really cold out there and therefore Chin Hong and I went back to Starbucks. We didn’t actually enter Starbucks cause we’re sitting outside at the corridor facing the gent’s WC.(We didn’t sit there on purpose cause we only noticed about it after seeing guys coming out of there. =P) I did something good sitting at such a strategic place by reminding those gents coming of the washroom to wash their hands. Hahaha.. At this moment, we saw Shaun and the gang passing by for the second time and this time they were going up the escalator. Chin Hong was saying that they might be going to the casino but I disagreed. So, we went up to the second floor to find out the truth as we’re walking around before going back to our room. I was glad that we found them having their ‘breakfast’ at the Hainan Restaurant which means they didn’t enter the casino. Cool~! Mission accomplished and then we headed back to our room.
Back into our room, the others were already there. We went to bed and started our pillow talk. Blah blah blah.. Then, we’re too excited talking about those models that we met before and we went out again to see whether we could bump into them again. Hahaha.. Please do forgive me cause it was kind of my idea. But sadly, we didn’t bump into them this time. =(
The trip was fun. I’m glad that I went. To pig oil and mars girl, wish them all the best and hope that they’ll take good care of themselves. =) Gambateh neh~!

1.05a.m 05/05/05
Condition: With my lousy laptop and my earphone on in my messy igloo. Can’t really ‘feel’ the weather out there but one thing’s for sure, it’s cold in here.
Position: Facing my Mayday poster and air conditioner.
Ever since my dad gave me this lousy laptop of his, I started to write my blog with it in my room. I was quite pissed off with it when I first started using it cause it is very fragile since my brother crashed it once. Poor thing. Well.. I’m kind of falling in love with it now since it really helps me filling in the space during my sleepless nights.
Actually I just finished ‘revising’ [Mayday’s Reunion Concert 2003.8.16 Live Taipei] VCD minutes ago. My room temperature is under normal room temperature but my heart is warm. It’s really cool seeing them being able to do what they want to do and reach out to achieve their dreams. Listening to Mayday at this very day and month of the year even brings them closer to me.
For me, Mayday isn’t just simply any boy band or cute celebrities out there most girls will chase after. 5 of them don’t really have outstanding appearances but what they have are great talents in music. Their music not only touches everyone’s heart but gives people the strength to overcome obstacles and the strength to grow together with their music.
Pig oil will definitely understand what I mean right?
Mayday ROCKS..!! May MUSIC . LOVE . PEACE all around the world.
[NO WAR] !!
May I just borrow pig oil’s fave line just for this time?!
Good night my earth~! Tomorrow will be a better day.
