@3:30 PM

Finally I’m back after being away from home for one whole week. I couldn’t believe that I actually kind of miss my bed as I thought I’m the travelling kind of person. I guess there’s really no place better than home. However, there’s nothing that’s more exciting than meeting good old friends after being apart for years. I’ve been waiting for this day to arrive and I’m glad that it really happened.

12/06/05 Sunday
I was too excited until I couldn’t really fall asleep. =P

13/06/05 Monday
Woke up early in the morning (around 7 o’clock). Took my bath and double-checked my luggage. I’ve been packing my luggage since Friday and yet I couldn’t decide which not to bring cause I was having a hard time cutting down the weight of my bag. PheWw~! First time being away from home all alone really caused me headache cause no one was going to carry my luggage for me. =(
Around noon, my dad brought me out for ‘brunch’ (breakfast + lunch) and then I was being sent to the bus station. I bought a 1.30p.m bus ticket and started reading Da Vinci Code that Chin Hong lend me decades ago while waiting for my bus to arrive. It felt good to travel alone. That was the feeling of mine at that moment. I was so addicted to travelling. =)
I reached Pudu around 4 o’clock due to mild traffic jam. I was kind of anxious when my bus was being trap in the traffic jam cause I was suppose to meet my friends (Andrea, Kris and Annie) at KL Sentral around 4 o’clock. Thank God I was not late cause they had a flight delay as well.
At KL Sentral, we hugged each other and Kris even pinched me to make sure that she wasn’t dreaming. Ouch~! I wasn’t sure about her but I was sure that I wasn’t dreaming. Hehehe.. From KL Sentral, we headed to Amanda’s house by cab and I was glad that we weren’t lost. The cab driver was kind of worry that Amanda’s house might collapse looking at the way we talked and laughed in the cab. That’s what would happen when a bunch of good old friends reunion. We just couldn’t stop talking all the way from the moment we met until we reached Amanda’s house. I guess girls really can talk about anything. =P
After we reached Amanda’s house, Kris still found it hard to believe that she was already here. Well.. Kris, we couldn’t believe it ourselves too.
At night, we had a short pillow talk cause Amanda still has to go to class the next morning. Counting down the days, we still have 6 more days to go. Therefore we were not in a hurry to rush through all the details. It was a good start though besides that only I found out that Andrea dream talked while she was sleeping and Kris and Annie coughed really badly at night.

14/06/05 Tuesday
It was a sunny day and I was the last one to wake up. Paiseh~! Breakfast was ready to serve and I was still in my very blur mood. After we had our breakfast and got ready with MAPs and everything (cause it was my first time being tourist guide in the area which is out of my own ‘di pan’ and normally I’m the one who depend on others), we headed to our 1st destination—Wisma Genting. We took a cab to KL Sentral and then we took monorail to Raja Chulan Station. Wisma Genting was on the right. After we booked our room for our Genting trip on Friday, we headed to KLCC. From Raja Chulan Station, we took monorail to Bukit Nanas. Then, from there we had to walk all the way to Dang Wangi station in order to change to Putra line. There was a 4-step instruction at the ticket counter and each one of us (Andrea, Kris, Annie and I) memorized one sentence so that we won’t get lost. Luckily, on God’s will we found the Dang Wangi station with no sweat at all. Haha.. Finally, we reached KLCC safely. =)
When we reached there, Kris started complaining that her stomach was grumbling. Hence, we headed to [Bread Talk] and they grab some buns to calm down their stomach while waiting for Amanda. We took some photos while enjoying the buns and only that I realized that Annie, Andrea and Kris were wearing yellow, red and green colour T-shirts which turned out to be the colour of traffic lights. What a coincident ~! We also took some photos in front of the fountain and some other beautiful scene around that area. Taking photos under the red-hot sun almost cost me my life. I guess penguins just don’t do sun bathing except those 4 in [Madagascar].
Around 2 p.m., Amanda’s was there to meet us and we had our lunch together. After that, we continued taking photos and lepaking around. We were loudly whistled by a female security guard when we’re taking photos in a swimming pool zone with our shoes on. Everyone was looking at us but we still think that we weren’t doing anything wrong.
The journey home took us such a long time and Annie was so tired until she almost fell asleep in the bus. However, Amanda was still excitedly telling stories about Russia. (Forgot to mention that Amanda is about to go to Russia to study medic this August or September and she’s taking Russian language class. That’s why she has a lot of stories about Russia.) We listened to her stories all the way home.
We stopped by a grocery shop near Amanda’s house to pick up some stuff before we headed straight back to her house. Once we stepped our feet inside the shop, people could hear our voices in every corner of the shop and even outside the shop. We’re comparing the price like what most aunties would do and talking like aunties bargaining in pasar. "Very expensive larr.. Get a cheaper one"… "Too big bottle larr.. Get a smaller one larr.."… And the most interesting part of all was Amanda’s dialog saying that "I don’t care ah.. if you all couldn’t finish what you’ve bought, must bring all of it back to KK ah…"..Hahaha… I already started to imagine that this is what we’ll do when we enter U. Having a bunch of friends doing grocery shopping together really is so enjoyable. =)
At last, we were back at home. After we did our laundry and took turns to take our bath, Kris started her Chef Chin cooking on ‘indomee’. (Erm.. her cooking not bad gua.. At least I’m still healthy and strong after eating what she cooked. Hahaha..) Thumbs up for Kris larr.. I didn’t even try her cooking before back in Sabah. So, I just can say she really changes a lot because she’s now more independent and mature.
After having our late dinner, four of us (Andrea, Kris, Annie and I) gathered round to talk about our love life and some stories of theirs during Form 6 that I missed out. Amanda was doing her homework in the dining room while we’re chit chatting but she couldn’t stop herself from listening to our stories. Hehehe.. =P
Around 11 o’clock at night, we went to cyber café near Amanda’s house to update their blog and check our mails. The cyber café was filled with our laughter. We just couldn’t control our voice volume no matter where we were. Oh God~!

15/06/05 Wednesday
It was already past midnight and we’re still in the cyber café. Five of us were so excited chatting with each other using MSN although we’re just sitting next to each other in a row. Ricky in Russia was online too and 6 of us were chatting in the same chat box. I think Ricky was kind of pening having 5 of us non-stop talking nonsense because he was kind of slow in replying us. All of us slept late that night and Amanda still had class in the morning.
We actually planned to make sandwiches the night before but we ended up making sandwiches in our dream. Hahaha.. Poor Amanda had to attend class with empty stomach. =( But one thing I’m glad about was, I wasn’t the sleepy head of the day. Hahaha..
Our destination of the day was Mid Valley. We walked around Mid Valley while waiting for Amanda to have lunch with us. Kris and I bought some very cheap earrings. We even bought some Nivea products for facial use.
Finally, Amanda was here and we had delicious asam laksa and nasi lemak for lunch. Fingers licking good~! After lunch, we went to the super doper grand toilet in Jusco and even took some photos in it. Sounds crazy huh?! But we really like it a lot especially the mini toilet which meant for little children to sit on. After that, we went on ‘hunting’ after our dessert—Baskin Robin 31. Yummy~! =)
By evening, all of us were very tired and exhausted and we decided to go home. At first, we planned to go home by taxi so we walked to the South Court but later on we decided to go home by bus and therefore we walked all the way back to North Court. PheWw~! We waited for our bus to arrive and yet it seemed like it took decades to reach us. I never like KL before and I guess I just never will.
After we reached home, we started preparing for our dinner. Our menu was fried rice. The rice that we cooked in the morning was too watery and our fried rice turned out to be very sticky. (We kept on adding water to our rice when we were cooking it cause we scared that it’d have not enough water. This is what would happen when urban people like us have to cook rice without a rice cooker.) Although it looked a bit awful, it still tasted delicious! Maybe it was because of our hard work and effort on cooking it or maybe it was because we’re all too hungry! Hahaha.. =P
After dinner, we gathered around and started chatting again. Amanda was doing her homework while we’re talking. She was not feeling well and went to bed earlier than usual and so did Annie. As for the remaining 3 of us, we’re still very energetic and thus we continued our topic in the living room and we ended up sleeping in the living room as well. *Blink*

16/06/06 Thursday
Woke up early this morning to do some laundry. Andrea, Amanda and Kris had their very famous ‘Roti Boy’ as their breakfast that we bought at Mid Valley the day before. The house was filled with the aroma of ‘Roti Boy’.
Our destination of the day was Bukit Bintang. There were a few missions that we had to accomplish on this day. First mission was to book a hotel room that’s cheap and near to the stage of TVB8 Anti-Drug Concert held on the 18/06 (Saturday) because we would be joining in the party too. Then our next mission was to redeem the tickets to the concert at KL plaza.
Therefore, we took monorail from KL Sentral to Bukit Bintang station and from there we started our search on the hotels around that area. At first, we were walking in the opposite direction of the stage due to some ‘helping hands’ that some workers at Starbucks lend us. However, as we were walking down the street, our instinct kept telling us that something wasn’t right. Thus, we walked all the way back to where we started. My sense of direction hasn’t been any better all this time and by turning our map from angle to another angle didn’t help at all. So, we just hantam jalan until we finally saw something we supposed to see—the pintu gerbang of TVB8 Anti-Drug Concert. We made an assumption that there’d be where the stage being set up. Hence, we started to search for the nearest hotel to the stage area until we came up to the Regent Hotel. We went in and a surge of adrenaline caught me by sudden and I could actually feel my sweat dripping off my forehead. The decorations of the lobby itself gave me this feeling that this wasn’t a place that we can afford to stay in. I was just hoping that the security guard wouldn’t chase us out looking at the way we dressed ourselves (not that we weren’t dress decently, just that what we’re wearing weren’t something ‘expensive’ enough to the standard of the hotel). Kris was the one chosen to ask the rate of the hotel. The answer was astonishing and I couldn’t even believe my ears. "Our standard and deluxe rooms were fully booked and we have only executive rooms left. Executive room for 2 person stay is RM510." Oh my gosh! You must be kidding me. With no doubt at all, we walked out of that hotel without even turning back. This might be the kind of hotels that I want to stay in in the future after when I’m rich, but one thing’s for sure…not now. =P
Our first mission turned out to be not so successful hence we decided to shop while we search. We shopped from KL plaza to Lot 10 and then Sungei Wang. We had our lunch at Sungei Wang’s hawker center without Amanda cause she told us she might not be joining us today due to her tiredness and homework load. Suddenly, we received a call from Amanda saying that she has no homework today and she could actually come and join us. Lucky Amanda and lucky us as well. We quickly finished up our lunch and waited for Amanda at the stage.
While waiting, Kris was being attracted by this don’t-know-sell-what-guy next to the stairs. Erm..quite good-looking one larr.. Then, we went in a shop selling shoes to look around hoping that we would find something worth buying. (My main purpose entering the shop was to rest my legs cause as we all know, there’ll sure be some kind of benches or chairs in those shops for their customers to try on their shoes). Suddenly, Andrea and Annie saw someone passing by. "Eh.. Jacob~!".. "Ah.. Jacob who?".. I thought it was some local celebrities or something like that larr... and without any second thought, I dragged Kris with me and chased after him. Alamak~! Rupa-rupanya he’s Kris’s friend from Sabah who came here to take part in Astro Talent Competition. The world wasn’t as big as we thought I guess.
At last, Amanda was here. We went to another restaurant to have lunch cause Amanda didn’t feed her stomach since morning. I ordered a mango pudding and I was very tasty. Andrea ordered an almond bean curd pudding and its taste wasn’t really what we imagined.
After that, we did some shopping and Kris was the winner of the day. Then, we went to take some ‘big head photo’ (Erm..i don’t really know what we supposed to call it) with the machine thing. The out come of the photo was excellent because we were all so fair and with no pimples at all in the photo. Hahaha... It really worth the price although RM20 was quite expensive.
Around 5 o’clock in the evening, we walked all the way from Sungei Wang to KL plaza to redeem the tickets to the TVB8 concert. I was so pissed off by the lady in-charged at the redemption counter due to her hostility. *Geram* I told myself to leave before my volcano blew up and I was glad I did. Arguing with people like her would only lower down my standard. =P
Second mission accomplished and we’re back to our unaccomplished first mission. We went back to a hotel that we asked before (Agora Hotel) and it was fully booked as well. Then, we went to another hotel (Fortuna Hotel) and its standard rooms were fully booked too. There was only one suite left. With no other choice, we decided to take the room and it cost us RM250.
Around 6 p.m., we took monorail and headed home. However, we decided to stop at Maharajalela station because they wanted to go to the very famous Petaling Street. We went to drink the very popular ‘luo han guo’ and even tried the very delicious ‘lao shu fen’ that my dad used to bring my family to.
Before really heading back home this time, we drop by at the ‘mi si’ shop. Around 7 p.m., we finally took the 218 KL rapid bus and went home.
After recharging our battery, we were back to become energetic. We took some crazy photos and videos before we eventually worn out and went to bed. ZzZzZzz…

17/06/05 Friday
Supposed to wake up early to cook porridge as our breakfast but we were all over slept and Amanda already went to class by the time we woke up. Amanda left us a notes reminding us stuff that we need to do before we left the house cause we’d be going to Genting for one night stay.
After packing our luggage, we took a taxi from Amanda’s house to KL Sentral. First thing we did is to buy the bus tickets to Genting. It cost each of us RM7.30 inclusive of skyway for one-way ticket only. Then, Andrea, Kris and Annie went surveying around Sentral where as I looked after the luggage cause I was feeling a bit dizzy when I woke up in the morning. Listening to my mp3, I continued reading the unfinished Da Vince Code by Dan Brown.
We were supposed to check our UPU result online today due to some rumours (the rumours were really pissing me off) but we the only cyber café we found in KL Sentral was killingly expensive (RM20 per hour). Therefore, we decided to check it after we reached Genting.
Amanda was finally here around 1.30 p.m. We bought our lunch at Mc D and then we went straight to our bus. Before getting up to the bus, the bus driver was saying something to Annie and I wasn’t sure what was he saying until Annie repeated it to me. "Make sure you tie up your plastic bag properly ah.. Or else the smell will spread all over the bus. Don’t eat in the bus k!!" I always say that I’m not that kind of ‘yes sir’ girl. So, did I eat in the bus? Sure, I did. =P Some rules are just meant to be broken.
We took one hour to reach the Genting Skyway from KL Sentral and took another 45 minutes to reach Genting. We were lost and even went into the casino accidentally. PheWw~! Finding our way to the hotel lobby with my heavy luggage was such a burden and I was sweating like mad even I was surrounding by cool air.
Reached the First World Hotel after turning round and round and lobby was shockingly crowded with people. There were no seats available and people were sitting on the floor at every corner of the lobby. A superior hotel like First World Hotel turned out to be some low class motel. We joined in the crowd sitting on the floor while waiting for our number to be called. Kris was busy flirting with a little guy called Shawn as Andrea and I were listening to mp3. People were looking at us with the ‘err..’ kind of look as they passed by our corner. No action taken by us. We just simply ignored them.
YEAH~! After waiting for about one hour, we finally got our room key. We went up to our room to put our luggage and rest for a while. After that, we went down to the in door theme park to have some fun!! We tried Euro-express, Ferris wheel, Reindeer, Bumper car, Motion master etc. Andrea and I really enjoyed the bumper car and we were shouting and screaming like nobody’s business. Hahaha.. =)
We had our dinner around 9 p.m. After that, we went searching around for our dessert. Guess what? Baskin Robin 31 again. Hahaha.. The nearest Baskin Robin had no more kid’s cone and we decided to walk all the way to another Baskin Robin that was quite far from where we were. Amanda and I were so overwhelming when we finally found it. Sadly, there was no kid’s cone left too. *Sob* Hence, we walked all the way back to the first Baskin Robin and each of us bought a single cone ice cream.
As we all know, in door theme park really has not much to play. Thus, we went back to play Euro-express again because that was the only interesting game all of us agree on. After taking the last ride of Euro-express, we went back to our room. We took our bath and then we went down again to walk around.
Around 2 a.m., we went ‘yam cha’ at Starbucks. Five of us shared a piece of cheesecake, a glass of hot choc and a glass of Soy-forgot-what-is-it-called drink. We headed back to our room around 3 a.m. due to the strong wind that was blowing right at our faces. Ah~ CheEwW..
3 something in the morning.. ZzZzZz… Good Night~!

18/06/05 Saturday
Event of the day—Out Door Theme Park.
First, we took a ride on the Gold Mine Train. Andrea wanted to join me at the first row and Kris was being left alone at the back. Kris kept on saying that: "I don’t want to be alone lerr..." Then I was saying: "Don’t worry larr.. We’ll know you’re still with us as long as we hear you screaming!" Hahaha.. =P
After doing the ‘warming up exercise’, we headed straight to the exciting one—Space Shot. Kris was too scared to try on it. Therefore, she just watched us while we were taking the ride. This was the first time I took a ride on space shot with such a lovely weather. The view from above was extremely beautiful. It was Amanda, Andrea and Annie’s first time taking the ride too. I bet they really had fun.
Next challenge was the Cork Screw. I was sitting by myself as Andrea sat next to Annie and Kris next to Amanda. Amanda was too scared until she couldn’t even get her voice out. I guess I was the only one SS screaming all along the ride. =P
After riding Cork Screw, we went on with the GIANT swing thing. Amanda had tried that before when she last came to Genting with her family and she didn’t dare risking herself to be dizzy again. Therefore, the remaining four of us went on. Theme song of the game—I believe I can fly. =)
Bumper boat was the last game that we afford to try on because of time factor. (We had to rush to Bukit Bintang to meet up with Chin Hong and the gang.) It was quite fun despite Kris’s engine wasn’t co-operating. My engine ran off too when we were almost running out of time and the other four pushed me back to the side. I really enjoyed being pushed without having me to take control of the handle. I waved like a Miss Universal as I was being sent back to the side. =P
At first, we thought we want to have a try on the Flying Dragon but the queue was very long. Without any other choice, we headed back to our room and started packing our stuff. Then, we took the Skyway back to the place where the bus dropped us.
We reached KL Sentral around 3.30 p.m. I rushed to Bukit Bintang to meet up with Chin Hong and the gang after having them waited for us for so long. (Cause they took 9 o’clock bus in the morning from Malacca and they should have arrived around noon. I asked them to shop around Bukit Bintang while waiting for us to come down from Genting.) Paiseh larr.. =P
Checked in around 4 p.m. We were staying at Fortuna Hotel. ( I think I did mention that before.) First, we had an ice-breaking event introducing friends from both ‘regions’. Surprisingly, we found out that Amanda and Snow Fish were ex-classmates. What a small world we have! =)
After taking some rest, Amanda, Andrea, Annie and Kris went out to buy some stuff as I stayed in the hotel to recharge my battery… I had to save some energy for later use. *Blink*

YO~!Just came back from Johor last Wednesday. Before tht,I went to Singapore with my family to pay my cousin a visit. It was about 8 years ago when i last went to Singapore.Good to be back to Singapore again although we didn't really shop around because of time factor. My dad wasn't feeling well and tht's why it was almost noon when we reached Singapore.
Well..For me,Singapore gave me the Hong Kong feel despite the weather was quite hot.Especially when we're shopping at Orchard Rd after dusk,it reminded me of Tsim Tsa Tsui Rd when i was shopping in Hong Kong around the same time.I'm so addicted to Hong Kong now.=P I'm already planning my second visit to Hong Kong.Hope tht my plan will jadi larr..Wish me luck!
Since i'm really broke recently,i didn't really dare to look into stuff tht i like coz i kind of scared tht my purse would start bleeding. So,i just bought a card reader and a baby-T.Paid by my dad of course. =P
Back to Johor,we did nothing other than staying in the hotel room. Therefore,i charged my battery until i syok so tht i can use it next week when i'm in KL.Haha..
Tht's all for the report of my trip.Looking forward to the coming up one cause i'll be meeting my friends from Sabah and we'll be going to the TVB8 Anti-Drug Concert.YO~!Mayday will be coming too~! =)
Mayday ROCKS~!

@10:44 PM

At last, school holidays have started. Hip hip hurray for my mom and sis. ‘Merdeka!’ for my sis who has just finished her last selaras paper last Friday. =) School holidays don’t really mean anything to me looking at the way I spend my time now. There isn’t much difference whether there’s a holiday or not.
However, there’s some routine that we have to do when holidays come. Yes, balik kampung it is. Therefore, we (mom, sis and I) took the 9 o’clock bus in the morning on last Saturday in order to meet my dad in KL then from there only we’d proceed to Pahang (my kampung). Why didn’t we straight away push off from Malacca to Pahang? Because it’d take 4hours to reach Pahang from Malacca but it’d only take 2hours from KL. By this way, my dad wouldn’t have to drive for such a long distance lorr…
Finally, we reached my grandpa’s house around 5p.m. Mosquitoes started to attack us like mad. In less than one hour, my hands and legs were full of ‘welcome greetings’ from mosquitoes. Anyone could imagine me in my sweater under the fan that only spins at the rate of 1 spin per sec and my sis and I were excitedly watching G.M.A (Golden Melody Award) while our sweats were dripping off our forehead? PheWw~! Talking about G.M.A, the out coming results were really disappointing. Not even one among so many of my favourites (Mayday, JJ, Fish Leong and LeeHom) had the chance to receive the trophy and thank their fans (including me) on the stage. *Sob* =( Not only that, my LeeHom even being embarrassed in front of so many people for some stupid misunderstandings. I couldn’t fall asleep at night having the scene being replayed over and over again in my brain. So sad. =( My sis and I spent the next day (Sunday) talking over about the stupid award thing. Really geram man~!
After being really upset about the non-of-my-business issue for more than a day, I spent my following day with a brand new mood. I went down town to meet my old old classmates. We had an hour chat and mostly updating about what’s new in each others life. I was glad that we were still able to click back and talk about some really 38 stuff even though we didn’t really keep in touch since Standard 5. =)
At night, my uncle treated the whole family with a really high class dinner at a restaurant down town. After that, we headed back to KL. We stayed over night in KL before we headed home the next day.
Tuesday night, we’re finally home. I mean Malacca home. Good to be at home again. =)
YO~! This isn’t the end of my traveling stories. I’ll be back for more. Next station—Johor and Singapore.

Merci poure, le triste
